About our Church
History
Beaver Lick Baptist Church has been serving the Lord and our community for generations. The church was formed from other local Baptist churches and was officially constituted as Beaver Lick Baptist Church on November 3, 1883.
The church first began meeting in Beaver and remained there until August 1977, when ground was broken at our current location at 11460 US Highway 42 in Union, Kentucky. Since then, Beaver Lick Baptist Church has continued to grow in faith, fellowship, and service.
At Beaver Lick Baptist Church, there is a place for everyone — from nursery age to senior adults. We are a church family that stands firmly on the Word of God, and our services are centered on Bible-based preaching, teaching, worship, and discipleship.
We are blessed to serve our community through ministries such as our food pantry, bus ministry, children’s and youth programs, choir, and Handyman Ministry for those who may need help with practical needs. We also support missions both locally and around the world, including Lottie Moon, Eliza Broadus, Annie Armstrong, Operation Christmas Child, Gideons International, Care Net Pregnancy Center, and Free Feet of Northern Kentucky, along with many others.
Throughout the year, we enjoy many opportunities for fellowship and outreach, including our Easter Egg Hunt, Ladies Banquet, Men’s Banquet, Vacation Bible School, Fall Festival, Trunk or Treat, mission trips, and more.
