Meet Our Pastor
John Rodgers
Pastor John Rodgers has a heart for the Lord, a love for people, and a deep commitment to standing on the Word of God.
John was born on January 29, 1963, and graduated from Lloyd High School in 1981. On June 4, 1983, he married Tina Bickers, and together they have built a life centered on faith, family, and service. Tina has faithfully served in children’s ministry and has poured her heart into homeschooling their children. Both John and Tina have always been active in children’s and youth programs, investing in the next generation with love and dedication.
John accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1979. Since that time, he has faithfully served the Lord through ministry at Big Bone Baptist Church, Ten Mile Baptist Church, and, beginning in October 2016, Beaver Lick Baptist Church.
Pastor John is known for his faithfulness, his love for God’s Word, and his desire to serve wherever the Lord leads. He strives to lead with humility, compassion, and a firm foundation in Scripture.
John and Tina have been blessed with 8 children and 11 grandchildren.
The Rodgers family is thankful to be part of the Beaver Lick Baptist Church family and continues to serve with grateful hearts.
